I finally got my nails done last week. My hands look so much better!

| Oooh, shiny! Check out my HK ring, too. I got it at the LA County Fair. | |

The color is called Metallic Fuchsia, and is from a company called KleanColor. I think they might be native to California. This polish is amazing! One coat is really all you need, though two improves the look texture-wise. It has a dull foil look until you put on the top coat. It turns to a true metallic foil. The only downside is that it doesn't want to come off! Ladies with natural nails can use 100% acetone, which would probably do the trick. Since mine are acrylic, I was stuck with less effective non-acetone remover. After copious scrubbing, I still had a purple cast to my nails.
I was planning to do another look, but given the staining, I just stuck with the fuchsia and added glitter over it. Here are some pictures of the finished product.

The glitter colors I used were a Chunky Glitter Pink from Sally Girl, Aurora from Kleancolor, and Step to the Beat of my <3 by Nicole by OPI.

The SG polish is serviceable. You really need to put it over something, as the glitter is chunky but sparse. It still added texture and dimension to my nails. And at under a dollar a bottle, it's a good way to try a color.

Aurora is a fabulous polish. In the bottle, it has this peachy, translucent look. Over the fuchsia, there was no discernible color to it. However, it is loaded with stars! The consistency of the polish made it easy to spread around. The polish not only has the stars, but it has chunky and micro glitter too. I highly recommend this color if you are into sparkly.

The final Nicole polish wasn't so great. Apparently it has to do with Justin Beiber or something? That has nothing to do with the formula being crap (OR does it?) but I found it to be a weird collaboration. This polish consists of pinkish-purple holographic hearts and micro glitter in a very translucent purple base. In the bottle, it looks loaded with hearts, but they were very hard to pick up with the brush. What I ended up with was a whole lot of goopy clearish polish without a lot of payoff. I had to be really careful to wipe the polish into the bottle while trying to keep the heart on the brush. It was pretty annoying. This polish was pretty pricy, as well; I think it was $8.50 at Target? For that price (or even cheaper!) I can get Zoya, OPI, China Glaze or Essie. It's funny how price isn't a good determining factor, huh? The Kleancolor products I used were bought at the LA County Fair at 3/$5. Even on their
website the bottles are $3.49 a piece. Now why can they make a good polish, and Nicole is lacking? To be fair, I think this is one of the first times I have tried the brand. I'm not in a hurry to purchase anything else from them, though.
I've bought some deco supplies from eBay recently. I hope they come soon. I haven't really done a lot of 3D nail art. I did hime deco toenails once last year. That was pretty fun. I really love having nails on and experimenting with them.
Well, that's all for tonight!
